Her therapeutic approach involves collaborating with her clients and helping them identify personal strengths and natural supports. Melanie works to help her clients focus on effective communication, healthy boundaries and changing behavior patterns. Melanie uses a combination of CBT, Trauma Focused CBT, and Solution Focused Therapy along with therapeutic techniques.

Lauren Gonzales is a pre-licensed professional who has had two years of internship experience working in a variety of settings. Her passion is to work with adolescent and young adult populations but has also serviced older adults and families. Her experience ranges from elementary schools, high school outreach programs, as well as community mental health centers and agencies. Lauren believes the interpersonal connection with one’s self is the most important relationship to have and shares her empathetic abilities in sessions with her clients.
