Meet our therapists

Adrianne Strachan, MA, LPC-S, NCC, CIT

Masters of Arts from Xavier University of Louisiana in 

Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Bachelor of Science from Xavier University of Louisiana in Psychology


Adrianne Strachan has five years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor and enjoys working with individuals and families. She has worked in various clinical settings including community mental health centers and outpatient facilities. Adrianne has had a passion to help others and her love of counseling shows that. Her approach is compassionate, direct, and nonjudgmental. She uses a combination of effective and evidence-based therapy, including but not limited to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. Adrianne is able to help clients replace past, unhealthy patterns with healthy behaviors, solutions, and coping skills.

Melanie Bouie, MSW, LCSW

Melanie is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and minor in Psychology. Melanie went on to earn a Master’s degree in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans. Melanie has practiced as a licensed social worker for five years. She enjoys working with youth and families struggling to communicate or dealing with trauma. She has worked in clinical and community settings as well as medical.  More recently Melanie has begun working with individuals with chronic illnesses i.e. Lupus. Melanie is straight- forward, honest yet compassionate and understanding. Her therapeutic approach involves collaborating with her clients and helping them identify personal strengths and natural supports. Melanie works to help her clients focus on effective communication, healthy boundaries and changing behavior patterns. Melanie uses a combination of CBT,  Trauma Focused CBT, and Solution Focused Therapy along with therapeutic techniques. 

Lauren Gonzales, MA, PLPC

Masters of Arts from Xavier University of Louisiana in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling Bachelor of Science from Xavier University of Louisiana in Psychology.


Lauren Gonzales is a pre-licensed professional who has had two years of internship experience working in a variety of settings. Her passion is to work with adolescent and young adult populations but has also serviced older adults and families. Her experience ranges from elementary schools, high school outreach programs, as well as community mental health centers and agencies. Lauren believes the interpersonal connection with one’s self is the most important relationship to have and shares her empathetic abilities in sessions with her clients. Her approach is sincere, sensitive but challenging, ethical, and nonjudgmental. She practices from Solution Focused Brief Therapy guidelines as well as Cognitive-Behavioral exercises. Lauren believes working with you, the client, on: your present day to day life functioning, ideal future, solutions and goals throughout the therapeutic process. She is experienced with helping clients through trauma, addiction, stress, and grief and loss. 

Ebony Baker, MSW, LCSW

Ebony is a graduate of the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. 


Ebony went on to earn her Master’s degree in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans. Ebony has practiced as a licensed professional for over 9 years and over 15 years as a Social Worker. She focuses on working with the adult population, but also has experience working with youth and families. Her approach is compassionate, patient, and non-judgmental. Ebony uses a combination of CBT, Trauma Focused CBT, and she also has training in DBT. 

Zephaniah Francois, MA, PLPC, NCC

Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Holy Cross in Louisiana Bachelors of Science in Social Science from University of Holy Cross in Louisiana

Zephaniah Francois has over 2 years of experience as National Certified Counselor and over 1 year of experience as a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana. Zephaniah is passionate about emotional health and has experience in supporting individuals and families to live emotionally and mentally healthy lives, in spite of life challenges. 


Zephaniah’s approach is person-centered, organic, and focuses on mindfulness practices to support individuals and families address past trauma, relationship conflict and personal self-development, in spite of life experiences that are traumatic and barriers to facing life and living successfully.


Zephaniah is devoted to coming alongside individuals and families to provide quality services that support personal accountability and taking responsibility for the lifestyle individuals desire to live. Zephaniah’s therapeutic services include, but are not limited to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based therapy approaches that effectively support individuals learn strategies to manage their emotional and mental health in the face of life challenges. Emotional and mental health are key factors that contribute to individuals having a better quality life, and Zephaniah is passionate about helping others and her love for people and their potential are the foundation of her counseling approach. 

Casey Coleman MS, PLMFT

Master of Science in Human and Social Science form Nova southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana in Psychology.


Casey is a provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has had 2 years of internships working with a variety of clients such as couples, families, individuals, teens, and children with special needs. In session Casey utilize your strengths as an individual alongside therapeutic tools and theory such as: Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative, Structural, and Cognitive Behavioral methods that fit your needs as a client that enables you to successfully achieve your therapeutic goals. Casey is an easy-going person who is skilled in using the things that you are interested in (games, anime, movies etc.) to create a safe nonjudgmental safe space. This safe place will be incorporated in a therapeutic process that helps you learn and recognize your strength forming healthy coping mechanisms to everyday life changes.
